The SICE S45 Fully Automatic tyre changer offers state of the art twist technology. A fully automatic machine but with no tilt back column this tyre changer offers a more compact work area but maintains the speed of a fully automatic tyre changer in operation.
Fully Automatic Tyre Changer Machine with Advanced Twist Technology
The SICE S45 24” Tyre changing machine is a fully automatic tyre changer but it has a swing arm operation. This provides enhanced stiffness in the mounting head and removes the need for unwanted space behind the machine.
Traditional automatic tyre changers have a tilt back column on which the mounting head sits. In order to operate the machine, you need to leave a space of about 1 metre for the arm to move backwards into. This is a complete waste of space and with the twist technology of the SICE 45 Tyre changer there is no need to leave this space.
Instead of tilting back, the column splits in 2 and the top half rises up and twists to the side of the machine. Inside the column are 2 reinforced cogs that separate as the column raises. As the arm twists back into position, the two cogs lock together providing the most stable mounting head placement on any tyre changer you have used. You also have the added benefit of being able to place the back of the machine up against a wall.
Double speed Tyre Changer
The S45 Tyre Changer from SICE is a double speed tyre machine. This means that the turn table can be operated at 2 speed, 6rpm and 16rpm. When first starting on the mount or demount of a tyre is is often useful to start at the slower speed. By depressing the turntable pedal half way, the table will begin to turn at the slower rate. Once the initial operation has been completed, depress the pedal fully down and the turntable will speed up to the higher level.
This feature gives the operator extra control during the tyre fitting operation.
Single or 3 phase tyre changer
The S45 SICE Tyre changer is available in both options. The single phase tyre changer runs off a standard 240v supply while the 3 phase one requires the industrial 415v. If you have the 3 phase supply in your workshop then we would always recommend going with the 3 phase supply. Hoever, not all units or shops will have the 415v supply and it can be quite an expense to have it put in.
That’s why we offer the S45 as a single phase tyre changer, using a moto inverter with super smooth voltage step. This means that the single phase version of the S45 is just as effective in the single phase version.
