As Field Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a team of field-based sales professionals, ensuring consistent sales performance while strengthening relationships with key customers across the region.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining people management, account development, coaching and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Northern Field Sales Team to deliver agreed sales targets and consistent performance.
- Monitor and review individual and team performance, providing clear direction, coaching and support to maximise results.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts, focusing on high-spend and high-potential customers to drive long-term growth.
- Support the Field Sales Team in developing strong customer relationships, increasing share of wallet and improving customer retention.
- Provide hands-on coaching to improve the team's effectiveness in account management and customer relationship development.
- Drive sales across Auto4's full product portfolio, including consumables, TPMS products and capital equipment.
- Ensure a structured approach to account management, with clear plans in place to retain and grow key accounts.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, strengthen customer loyalty and enhance overall account performance.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading, motivating and coaching a field-based sales team.
- A strong sales and account management background within the automotive, tyre, aftermarket or workshop equipment sectors.
- Experience developing key accounts and building long-term customer partnerships.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify and maximise sales opportunities.
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Based within the North of England or able to travel extensively throughout the region.
